Originally from the beautiful mountains of northern Utah, Dr. Larson graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s of arts degree in French. He then obtained his medical degree from The Ohio State University, where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. He received the Academic Excellence Scholarship for top performance in his class, and was also selected as a junior medical student to receive the Alpha Omega Alpha award.
Dr. Larson has been practicing in Denton since 2013 and started Denton Hand & Orthopedics in 2021. The practice takes new patients of all ages and takes most insurances, including most private payors, Medicare/Medicaid, and Tricare. Dr. Larson also performs Independent Medical Exams (IMEs), specializing in hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions. He offers a wide variety of surgical expertise including arthroscopy of the hand, wrist and elbow, endoscopic carpal tunnel, joint replacement of the hand, thumb, and elbow, minimally invasive fracture treatment, and a wide variety of surgery for the hand, wrist, and elbow as a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, with Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Larson performs surgeries at Texas Health Denton Surgery Center, Texas Health Presbyterian Denton, Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound, and Medical City Denton.
